Soapy massage for two in Amsterdam, and whether the bathroom allows it
Soapy massage begins in the bathroom with hot water and dense foam, and it is the one booking on this site that the room itself can veto. That is not a caution added for form. A bathroom in a central Amsterdam building can be anything from a full wet room to a shower cubicle that two people cannot stand in, and the format lives or dies on which of those you have been given by whoever booked the room. Check it before the evening is agreed rather than after. Where the bathroom works, it is a warm, slow and genuinely different session from anything else here, and it moves to the bed for the second half. Where it does not, an oil format is the better evening and the reply will say so. The therapist decides what her session includes and says where her limits are before anything begins.
Origins
The soapy format came into European practice from Southeast Asia, where it developed in the bathhouses of Bangkok from the nineteen seventies onward and was built around purpose-made rooms with fitted tubs and drainage. Almost none of that architecture survives the journey into a hotel bathroom, which is why the outcall version is a real adaptation rather than a copy: the foam and the sequence carried over, the room did not, and the second half on the bed is what replaced the part the building cannot provide.
The technique
Foam is the medium and it behaves differently from oil: it carries less friction and far less pressure, so the first half is about warmth and coverage rather than about work. She keeps the water running warm rather than hot, because hot water on a tired body produces light-headedness faster than anybody expects. The move to the bed is made without a long gap, since the whole point of the first half is the state it leaves you in. On the bed the work is ordinary oil technique, long and continuous.
What to expect
It opens with water rather than with oil. The bathroom is warmed first, the foam is made up from what she brings, and the first part of the session happens standing or sitting depending entirely on what the room allows. It is slower than people expect, because foam and hot water do most of the work and hurrying either of them wastes both. The second half moves to the bed and looks like an ordinary oil session, which is where the length goes. Towels are hers. Afterwards the bathroom needs about ten minutes to become ordinary again. With a therapist each this is difficult in a standard room and should be raised in the first message.
Who it suits
Couples with a good bathroom and a free morning behind the evening. The added weekend. Anyone who has found the oil formats slightly too even and wants a session with two halves. It is not the choice for the night before an early meeting, and it is not the choice in a room where the bathroom is a cubicle with a curtain.
Benefits
Hot water on a body that has spent the day in air conditioning does something an oil session cannot, and the transition from the bathroom to the bed gives the evening two distinct halves rather than one continuous stretch. For couples who find ninety minutes of one thing too uniform, that structure is the appeal.
Length
Ninety minutes at 540 euros for the two of you sharing one therapist is the shortest sensible booking, because the format has two parts and an hour gives neither of them enough room. Two hours at 720 is the comfortable version and the one most couples take on the evening before a free morning.

Questions
How do we know if our bathroom is good enough?
Two questions settle it. Can two people stand in the shower area without either of them against a wall, and does the floor drain or does water leave the cubicle? If the answer to both is yes, it works. If either is no, take an oil format and keep this for a trip with a different room.
How long does the bathroom take to recover afterwards?
About ten minutes, and she leaves it usable. Foam rinses away with water and nothing is left on the surfaces. The practical point is that if one of you needs the bathroom immediately afterwards, build those ten minutes into the evening.
Can both of us be in the first half?
In most rooms, no, and that is a matter of floor space rather than of arrangement. With one therapist between you the usual shape is one of you in the bathroom half and the changeover on the bed. Say what your bathroom is like in the first message and the reply will tell you what fits.
Is this a bad idea before a flight?
It is a poor idea before an early one. Hot water, foam and a bathroom to recover push the end of the evening later than the oil formats do, and an early departure and a late finish are a bad combination. Before a late afternoon flight it is fine.
